Flywheel Resurfacing Tolerance
I have personally resurfaced my flywheel once and am unsure of any other times. What is the spec/how do I go about checking that so I know whether I can re-use and resurface this flywheel again?
Also, there was a thin piece of round metal (I'm thinking a spacer when the flywheel was resurfaced before myself doing it???) and last time I installed the flywheel and clutch I placed that metal piece behind the flywheel assuming it was to space it out and keep it within range of the clutch...was that correct?

Re: Flywheel Resurfacing Tolerance
I doubt any spacers are needed... I've never seen one.
What flywheel is this? Aftermarket, might be able to find a spec from the maker. Otherwise I doubt you'll have a problem. Just go get it machined flat. Not like brakes where you run out of meat, it'd take a while for that to happen with this.

Re: Flywheel Resurfacing Tolerance
Stock flywheel to my knowledge. The little spacer was on the old 305 so I carried it along to this rebuild. Guess we'll see what happens!
