I believe its the open differential right? Forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is limited slip the same as posi? Whats the difference between them? How much (estimate) would it cost and how much work is it to switch from open to posi and throw in some 3.42 gears?

Yep, just about all TBI RS's got open differntials. Limited slip and posi are two names for the same thing.
To get posi on your 91 RS, head over to SLP at http://www.slponline.com/ and purchase their takeoff Torsen posi for $100, then go to www.camaroz28.com or www.ls1.com in their classified ads section, and purchase some used 3.23 or 3.42 gears from a 4th genner. Then you'll need to find a good shop to install and set up the gears, because its tricky and not something you can do in your backyard. Good luck!

One more, you'll also need the speedo gears for your transmission so your speedometer will read right. They can be found in the FAQ here.
