Bad Buck

The 700r4 Automatic on my 1986 Iroc 305 tpi is ridiculous. When first put into gear drive or reverse, at a 750 rpm idle it bucks or kicks pretty hard. It lurches forward a bit and almost stalls the motor out. Also a few times, not all the time, when driving normal the car would rev up to 2500 and shift hard into the next gear. Car only has 40,000 miles on it. Any help would greatly appreciated and thankyou.

is there any delay when u put it from park to drive or park to reverse? if so chances are the transmissions clutches are a bit worn.

not to mention if the motor mounts are bad, it will add to the bucking, also could be a transmission mount or a torque arm bushing.
