one of my last post I asked where I could find just an adapter Plate to bolt a t56 up to a t5 bellhousing. Well I found I guy who can sell me just the plate and input shaft. But here is the thing. He said the longer input shaft , made longer to make up the difference of the adapter plate, is made for the 2.97 first gear like they put in the 93 camaros. The viper t56 uses the 2.66 first gear like the production t56 for the new camaros. Isnt first gear just pressed on the shaft? Does first gear come with the shaft? Couldent I just pull off the 2.97 gear and press on the viper first gear?
