i switched my tbi 305 to a carbed 355 in my 89 camaro and im having problems with the trans shifting it wont down shift unless slowing down and it feels sluggish when at wot it just stays in 3rd i tried to adjust the tv cable but i dont really understand how to can someone help????

 

im having the same problem what did you find.

 

To adjust the cable.

1. press the button on the cable to release the lock mechanism. (located at the throttle and TV cable bracket)
2. open the throttle all the way (WOT)
3. make sure the part of the cable that is coming out is as far towards the rear of the car as it can be while still holding the throttle open.
4. Release the button.

The process is not easy to do by yourself so get a friend to help you out.
