All T56 swappers...need help!!

OK, I have not started my swap yet, but I am trying to get a picture of what I am going to do before I start, so I don't screw up.
1)How exactly does the hydrolic assembly go together. Does the master cylinder bolt to the fire wall, or where does it and the slave cylinder go?
2)Is the clutch pedal attached to the master cylinder or what does it attach to?
3)How and where does the clutch fork install? In the article I am reading about the swap, it doesn't mention the clutch fork. Help!!

the master cylinder goes through the firewall behind the clutch pedal and is attached to the pedal with a rod with a loop on the end of it. Then a braided steel hose runs down to the slave cylinder which is attached to the transmission facing frontwards(towards the motor). The slave cylinder has another rod that pushes on the clutch fork which goes around the throwout bearing. This is just a quick description so if you need anymore specifics just ask.

Steve is right.

Steve, what pedals and hydraulics did you use? From what I understand, there are two versions of the T56 Hydraulics, an early disign and a later design.

------------------
L98, 3.27 9-bolt, Hooker shorty headers, custom 2.5inch Y-pipe, no cat, 3inch 2chamber flowmaster, JET AFPR, Ported MAF, Best ET: 13.86 @100mph. 1.99 60'
17 inch ROH "ZS" wheels. 17x8.5(front) and 17x9.5 (rear). Firestone Firehawk SZ50s. 245/45/zr17s and 275/40/zr17s. T56

On the way... Radar Blue 89 Formula, T56, Ram Jet 430, Ram Air, 17inch ROHs.

Yeah thats what the dealer told me when I went. I just got the one of the two that he had in stock. It seemed to work for me. I don't know if it was the early or late though. Do you know what the difference in the two is because I sure don't. The pedals I used were out of the '95 Camaro that I got the T56 out of. I had the whole assembly and just cut off the gas pedal.

Heck, I dont know the difference either. The guy in the parts department didnt have any idea. He didnt even know they offered a 6 speed in an fbody!

So, did your master cylinder hook directly up to the 4th gen pedals, or did you have to do some modification?

I am asking cause I had to mod the hell out of my 88 to get it to work.

I am getting ready to do another swap into my 89, so I want it to go a little smoother this time.
