T56 PPM

Hey Fellaz,I just ordered a Dakota Digital speedo interface so I can recalibrate my speedo after a T56 swap. What I need to know is the pluse per mile(ppm)that my 94 borg warner T56 tranny is sending out so I can hook it to the proper connector on the Dakota Digital speedo interface unit.............Thanks

Hey,I checked that jtr article but it still doesnt give the output coming from the tranny itself. What it does give is the 17 tooth per driveshaft revolution. Now if I only can convert that into pulses per mile (ppm).any ideas?....thanks

Hey, I did a T56 conversion and got the cyberdyne speedo box. There must be something wrong with mine. First of all, the range of the box is just a hair outside of where I need it to be for my speedometer to be right. So the speedo either shows 10 above what I am actually doing or nothing at all. Even if I don't touch it it will change calibration. Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I would think you could do it by trial and error. For some reason I remember the T56 being extremely high in PPM. If you get it to work dependably could you please report back?? I'd like to order one if it'll work better than what I have.

4000 - Are you sure?? I thought the 700r4 put out 4000ppm. The T56 is much higher than that.
