are there any mild shift kits that dont chirp unless you get on it? i hear that all these shift kits out there bark at like 1/4 throttle. i really dont want to have to replace U-joints all the time. Any opinions or help would be appreciated.

What really makes the "chirp" or hard shift is the point that the tranny shifts. In my 200, it would shift out of first at 1500 rpms. For my 350, I wanted it to shift normally, so I didn't add the springs that go into the govenor. That way, at WOT, I'd be able to chirp, or more, the rear tires, and at normal pedal, it will give a firmer shift.

My 200 chirped my 295s all the time, then it died. I wonder why?
