Drill the wrong hole in my valve body
I was installing a trans go shiftkit in my 1983 th700r4 which has a type 1 valvebody according to the instrution.... Well I was watching the video and then doing it to the transmission and the video is for type 2 and I drill a hole on the bottom right on the valvebody which is right location but for a type 2 valvebody. The hole goes into a tub. Should I go to the junkyard tommarrow and get a valvebody? Or could I go to the junk yard and get a pan and late model valvebody with Aux and use it. Or could I just keep goin and do everything for a type 2.
Re: Drill the wrong hole in my valve body
Just tap and plug the hole. You cannot use a later valve body here. Now just follow Type "1", and "do not" use the Orange spring on the 3-4 shift valve, leave it "as is". Dana
