3.23 POSI

I'm not very skilled in the ways of rears, but how good will this be in my car? besides the posi which is a must, how are the ratios? The one I have know sucks nuts so I'm hoping for a little extra kick when I hit the gas, I have a 5.0 and don't even know it.. hehehe.. any comments?

if your going from 2.xx to 3.23, you will feel a diffence. Still a high enough gear to get good gas mileage. Depends on the use of your car. I know that anywhere from 3.23 to 3.73 is popular for these cars. very rarely do I see anyone running a lower gear than 3.73. Mine are 3.27s, and they get my car up pretty good. Have a friend with 3.73s, and he has problems spinning the tires. When it does get traction he has done 8.8's in the 1/8th mile. With a 5.0, I would go with 3.42 or lower gear.
