i hope this dosent mean what i think it does.. the car has 44,000 miles and never had a tranny fluid change,
what do you guys think it is?

Drop the pan and look for metal and stuff. Then remove the filter and look for the same. You're probably looking at a rebuild unless you were a litttle low on fluid.
