Need help with leak

What is the name of the seal where the driveshaft goes into the rear end? I have searched and I am unable to find it?

Re: Need help with leak

Now that we have got that out of the way. Autozone said that there are tow different seals for my car. How can I tell which one I need? One they have in stock and the other will have to be ordered. I really want to avoid taking the seal out before I have the replacement. They have one for a 7 3/4 ring gear and a 7 1/2 or 7 5/8 ring gear.

Re: Need help with leak

7 3/4= 9-bolt rear
7 1/2 or 7 5/8 (both the same seal)= 10-bolt rear

You need to know which rear you have.
