3.70's in a 2 series 9 bolt carrier...

"if you make a .25 in ring gear spacer, the 3 series gears will fit in it."

Have any of you all done this?
Will it hold up to my ZZ4 with drag radials?
What about later on when i get miniram cam and 100 shot of nos?

kream..call drive train specialties, they go by DTS. You should be able to get their # from the ads in super chevy or chp. I went from 2.77 to 3.73s w/ their kit. No probs in 2 yrs since I've done this. My car goes low 12s w/ low 1.70 60 ft times on DR. Hope this helps.

woah, from 2.77 to 3.73? now thats a break through for me...especially since i don't expect to get too funky with my ride but do want to be able to grin when i kick it...

-K&N Airfilters

Richmond sell gears that enable you to use your 2 series carrier with higher (numerically) gears than normal. Look in Jegs
