2000 stall or 2400 stall ???

I'm getting my transmission rebuilt in a few weeks and I'm not sure what size converter I want.
I am looking at the B&M Tork Master whats the pro's and con's on the 2000 or 2400?

I aleady bought a B&M shift kit and a vette servo.

Thanks

I wouldn't go with less than 2400. I've got the Vigilante 2800 waiting to go in mine.

I agree, go at least 2400
and use a 9.5" Vigilante
they are worth what they ask for them.

Does'nt anybody here have a stall converter in their 3rd gen ?

What should I expect from a 2000 stall or 2400 stall?
It's a daily driver, but I do like to f*ck with the kids in the rustangs!!

Thanks

If you've got highway gears and sticky tires you can expect close to 1/2 second gain in E.T. from a vigilante. That is a very big difference.
On top of that you can use the lock-up feature @ WOT to gain an additional .1 - .15 second, 2 - 2.5 MPH.

this info is not from the Precision (vigilante) advertisements,
but from my own vericom testing of several vehicles including my own.

The vigilante is the best quality torque converter I've ever seen, and should not break if it's installed & shimmed properly.
