Before pulling my engine apart a couple days ago I was driving my 85 Z28 which I just got and noticed that it was hard to put in fourth had to slam it in. Felt like it was getting stuck on something but the clutch was all the way in and there was no grinding. With out it running and shifting through gears in my driveway it didn't catch though. Any Ideas? Is this a simple fix?
