Best value/performance torque converter...

I have a transmission from The Tranny Doctor and I am in search of a converter. The range needed is around 2800rpm. It will be daily driven and see some occasional strip use. The motor is a small block 400 producing over 400hp. I have looked at Vigilante, and Yank since I have heard they were the best. I guess I am going to have to get used to the fact that 700-800 for a converter is the norm. Just seeing if this is true I will have some saving to do in that case. Thanks

That's exactly what I bought but I haven't put it in yet. This is what PI recommended for my car and I still have stock heads and cam.
They assured me this stall will work great in my car.
I'm also going to get a trans cooler too.
Everyone who has a Vig has seemed to be very happy with it, I don't think you'll be disappointed either!

Bob
