???speedo doesnt work ????

just like the topic said.. what could it be the VSS i am not to familiar with the tranny yet so help me please what should i check on and what is the price for the parts i might have to replace..i have a 91 RS with of course the 700r tranny. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

did it just stop working or has it always been like that??? you might want to check the connection on the back of the tranny...on the drivers side, some how mine came loose and got disconnected... when that happens your speedometer will just drop and not move...as well as having a serivce engine light..

Just pull the codes off of th ecm(there is a tech article for that) if you get a code 24 then check the connection at the back of the tranny if that is plugged in tight then go to the dealer and order a new vss(be sure to have the vin# handy.) I just did this on my 92 RS Camaro and now every thing works great.
