Hurst Dual Gate Console Shifter

I bet most of you havn't seen this shifter from Hurst. If bolts directly into the 3rd gen console. It's different than most auto sticks becasuse it doesn't have the levers like the quarter stick or the megashifter. It doesn't have the rubber boot either. It looks like the gated shifters they put in Ferrari's. It's an H pattern with two gates one of which has only forward gears. It is not a ratchet style it has detents. I think the ratchet style is better sorta like an indy car. But anyway this thing looks awesome you can see pictures on www.nextgenparts.com/fbody I want one.

In the race gate they're not really just detents though, you have to try one to see what I mean.

I was looking at those, they look great. I like all 3 shifters and don't know which one I'd choose.

I went with the Dual Gate because I could never get the detents in the stock shifter to match up with the ones in the transmission. It's almost like having a shifter for everyday use and one for "performance" use. I also liked the way it goes in without butchering the whole interior. There are 1 or 2 things I wish were a little different about it though, but I'm pretty happy with it.
