does anyone know if a lockup torque converter can be wired up directly to be turned on at the flick of a switch? My car has no computer and the TC does not lock so I am losing milage right? that is what I think. If I can do this how would I wire it up? would it just be positive to switch to tranny jack? Please help

 

Look in the tech articles! There's a great article on how to hook up a switch to make th TC lock up!! The only thing that sucks is that you have to unlock it when you drop down in any gear other than OD because the performance in those gears suck when you have the TC locked up!! Well, it doesn't really suck...according to the article....but it's hard on the tranny!! I'm getting a B&M console megashifter for my TA and I'm gonna buy the B&M handle with the little switch on the side and I'm gonna rig the lock up to that switch....that'll be the easiest way!!
