0-60?

i got 89 rs 305 tbi only mod is open air filter my 0-60 is 8.4-8.6 depending on start if i took out the stock ****ty i think 2.73 gears and put in 3.90s what what do u guys think my 0-60 would be, how much faster

I can't give you an exact time, but I do believe the 3.90's will make a huge difference.

I'm running a totally stock 305 TPI and I have no problem beating cars with way more power than my car 0-60.

I don't worry about running out of breath at the end of the quarter mile because I don't race quarter mile.

The only problem I have is traction. If I spin, I lose.

I see it like this: if we meet on the street, and I'm faster 0-60(pretty much light to light) I win! Forget about the quarter mile, get the 3.90's!

haha thanx for the info i think i might have to get the 3.90s yea who cares about quarter mile all my races are from like 0-60, the tires realy spin that easy with them what at like every shift especialy because i have trans go shift kit haah sounds like fun errrrrrrrrrrr the quarter mile testings will come when i buy buy crate 350 some time this year after i pay my high *** insurance bills damn being 18 sucks with insurance

Axle/Gears: 10bolt Richmond 3.73 Torsen
I'd stick with the 3.42 gears, that way you can still do great in the 1/4 mile and still get decent gas milage.
