D to OD at wot

how do i make it shift from d to overdrive at wot..what aftermarket parts does the trick

i think the vette servo will allow this, but im not sure, i had it done to mine when it was built, but i dont know what the guy did to it to make it do the WOT shift

it's a valve in the valve body, not the servo. B&M was the first to offer this, you can find the kit at www.summitracing.com for like $35 or so.

that jack *** the built my trans better have done it right............ill find out as soon as i get it in and broke in

Generally that valve is a option not something automatically used in a build for the reason some people do not like it due to part throttle kick down issues

i thought that part just delays the kickdown untill 2/3rds throttle? not sure but i think the OP is asking for full throttle shifts

I really don't reccomend those valves unless you have a billet OD servo along with a really good 3-4 clutch pack and properly performing valvebody and pump. Even then, much over a few hundred hp you're asking for problems. - OD was not designed for performance/WOT operation.

This kit is based on what Chevy put in the 'vettes. Those 'vettes do kick down at like 3/4 throttle, but do give WOT upshift.

well mine is built to hold some power...all top end racing parts in it

and i was told that i will have the 3 to 4 @ WOT....... granted it aint going to get up to that much if any, just nice to know its there

my trans has a habit of staying in overdrive till about 1100 rpm on the hills unless i tap the gas pedal is that normal?
