hey there people, well i have an 87' camaro (z28, 5.7) and it is automatic.

this week i come to realize that when it goes to 3rd gear it is slipping, and the engine pretty much just starts revvying! i had changed the transmition fluid but nothing has changed and it is still slipping. also i found out that it was running low on tranny fluid for a while. Which is why i changed it

any ideas how to fix this? before i jump to getting a brand new transmission and losing money that i could be saving?

Unfortunately if you've been driving in low on fluid then likely you have burned up the 3-4 clutch set . Do not take much take.
You are going to need a trans
