why do you have to add this to the gear lube? Isn't there a product that produces a combination?

it's not a lube, but that's what most of us call it. it's a friction enhancer. makes the clutch pack work better, cuts down on noise too. only one i'd use would be Gm posi additive, no aftermarket.
