I was wondering what parts you guys use in your rebuilds? We use raybestos blues, Kolene steels and a kevlar band in our 200's. What else seems to work well?

The guy who does my transmission work isn't a fan of the Raybestos blues, says he doesn't think you really get anything for the extra cost. My 700 has the Borg-Warner High-Energy frictions.

I went with alto read eagle frictions and kolene turbulator steels.
The powerpack (add on) gives you 9 frictions in the 3-4 pack and a band that gives you 1/4" more apply area and fits a stock case.
More info from http://www.altousa.com/friction.htm
I like the warning they give you with the kit: don't use red eagles in regular or heavy duty applications because of customer complains from the much shorter and firmer shifts. Use for hi-performance only.....
Sounds like the kit for me! I heard raybestos and borg warner are a good brands also.
