Speedo Gears
About how much are speedometer gears for the 700R4 and how much does it cost to have someone install them?

Speedo gears are roughly $10 each. You need 2 for your car; a drive and a driven gear. 1 hour labor should be enough to put them in.

You may already have the driven gear you need, in which case 10 or 15 minutes to replace the driven gear without jacking the car up is probably more than enough.
