This doesn't really have anything to do with my camaro. Basically what I did was get an awesome deal on a barely used camaro 700R4 with the geared VSS. My 91 pickup has a magnetic VSS. So I have been driving around with no speedo for obvious reasons.

I didn't really look into it cause at the time I just cared more about having the truck running. Now, however, I wanna restore the truck and figured that would be a good place to start.

My question is, can I simply splice in my wiring to the geared VSS or do I need to change something and if so, what?

I did search around for a bit but haven't found anything that really dealt with this situation.

I was thinking that perhaps others on here had done the same, vice versa. Newer magnetic VSS to geared VSS.
