hi i've never done a trans swap before and i'm now looking at doing one on an 88 IROC. my questions are :should i buy the car? (it comes with the working trans and the one in it is bad) wil i need to know anything special to swap a 700r4 on a 305 for another 700r4 on the same 305?

 

how much does the guy want for the car? how many miles? is the wiring hacked up? is it all original (engine, rear etc)? is there any rust? what does the interior look like? these are the important questions. as for the swap; it is straight forward.
