#2 and #3 size carrier question

Car: 89 FORMULA 350, 91 Z28 Convertible

Engine: ls1, LB9

Transmission: t56, Auto

Axle/Gears: S60/ 3.73

#2 and #3 size carrier question

I know that there are the two size carriers in are 10 bolts. now my car came with 3.23 gears and would like to know if I get s10 gears will the 3.73 gears bolt right up or will I need the #2 carrier

You're fine. 3.23's and up are 3-series gears. As long as the s10 gears are from a 7.5 or 7.625 10 bolt then they will fit.
