Converted to a T-56.....hydraulic problem!
Last year, I pulled out my turbo 350 and installed a T-56. My car was originally a 4 speed car so most of the necessary holes were already there and locating the new parts was pretty easy.
Problem is.....the clutch pedal keeps adjusting itself and bringing the pedal up so high that the clutch starts slipping. I got under the car and popped the line off of the slave cylinder to relieve the pressure then put it back on. I got it to where the pedal needed to be pressed about an inch before the clutch started dis-engaging and this felt right. After about two months of driving though, the pedal tension came up to the top again and the clutch was slipping. I just bled it off again but it's already starting to come up again. What is the deal.
I installed a complete new hydraulic system from GM when I put it in.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Sounds like the system they gave you is bad. There really is no other possibility. I would go ahead and get a new setup and test it on your car to be sure, but I think you'll find that your setup was bad from the start.
