Energy Suspension Trans mount...
Someone replied to my earlier topic concerning the bad vibs I'm getting through my car at 60mph+ and stated that they had the same problem when they installed an Energy Suspension Trans mount b/c the mount is actually taller than the stock which effects the pinion angle. Anyone else with a similar experience? The car vibrates & hums violently at 60+. I've swapped u-joints, driveshafts, balanced tires, etc.

Yes, the poly trans mount is physically taller than the rubber by about .25". Some people experience vibration some dont. Personally, I just went to the hardware store, bought some thick washers and put them between the crossmember and the frame, lowering the entire crossmember a little. That took care of it.

I have the energy Suspension mount in mine and it works fine. Thinking that it will make a car vibrate by installing one sounds a little bogus, but who knows. With 3:73's, it sounds like you need an aluminum driveshaft!

Seems it's hit or miss. I installed the mount when I installed the Tremec so I'm thinking the pinion angle is out. Taller ES trans mount, crossmember adapter, etc.... As for the aluminum driveshaft, my car is a 1LE so I have it.
