Well...to start of I have a 3.1 92 RS auto and the problem is that during normal acceleration my cars RPMs will be like 1,000 - 2,000 higher than normal and my acceleration sucks. As this happens my service light comes on and stays on then about 1-2 minutes later it goes out and everything is better. Im noticing it happening more and more. It doesn't go on when i start my car so ...i don't know how to get the code.
Is this a sign to a tranny thats gonna die?

check the code that is comin from the engine best bet its your egr valve sticking maybe reaching but dont know mine was doin same thing egr causing my exhaust to run lean...
