You're doing almost the same thing I am...Use a 3rdgen disc brake proportioning valve and a master cylinder to match. You should be OK with your existing P/B booster. As far as how your ABS will work, I really don't know...all I know is the early 4th gen rears had a sensor for both rear wheels on the top of the axle and later rears had one sensor per wheel (I think, somebody correct me if I'm wrong). I was actually thinking of swapping in valves and an EBCM to convert my '86 IROC to ABS, but cannot find enough info, and all kits that will actually work cost $$$. I have heard of these swaps, but as I said, I cannot find info. Anyway, use those parts and you should be OK. Change your hoses to stainless while you're at it (if you didn't already).

Dont worry about the ABS. Your car doesnt have it, but the 4th gen brakes will work just fine.

Wait a second, the 4th gen rears are a wider unit are they not? Although I suppose that if they bolt in ok then they would probly work if your using a 4th gen wheel/tire combo. I'd be interested in how that works out. So even though the 4th has ABS it'll work just fine with the correct prop. valve?
