Which one would fit an 85 iroc with the 700r4? If both will fit which one is better?
Thanks

I'm not sure that I can reply responsibly. I've heard that the 1LE is a superior shaft, but I have no personal experience with the LS1. I do have, however, a 1LE in my 85 IROC--by the way, you'll require a different-size rear U-joint to make the shaft bolt up. Should you need it, let me know and I'll dig it up for you. Whether the 1LE is better or not I can't say, though many 1LEs were put into fourthgen cars with vibration problems. The 1LE is also, I believe, more expensive.
