For those with a 4spd manual and Hurst Super Comp shifter...

I have a question. Is the Hurst Super Comp shifter supposed to be a pain in the butt to shift into reverse? I have an 88 GTA with a BW T10 in it and it is a royal PITA, I almost have to straight up force it or jam it to get it into reverse. I have already driven the car around town a while and it does this no matter where I am. Since I got the car wused with the tranny already installed, I don't have any instructions on it. Are there some adjustments or something I can make to help? Thanks
