I just got this 83 camero and i dont know what type of trans is in it. the guy i bought it from said the car was stock as a rock so i assume its the facotry transmition. its a 3speed auto. My dad was telling me if it had a vac module it is a 350. I gave it a qicl glance and cant see much, dont have a big enough jack to get under the car for a good look.
Well regardless does anybody know what was supposed to be in it and if so what are the gear ratios of a stock tranny for an 83 with 305 and no od?

In 82 200c's were stock, in 83 you had a choice of 700r4 or 200c, so since yours is a 3 speed I agree, its a 200c
