Ok, I have a 89 rs camaro, with the tbi 305, and 700r4.
Iam going to be changing the motor to a 406. Iam wanting
to know what would be the better trans for this. I have a th400,
and the 700r4. The car is going to be mostly on the street. It has
2.73 pois in the rear right now. Iam thinking I would like to keep the
700r4, for the overdrive. Let me know what you think. Also is there
anything I would have to do for the 700r4 to work. After I change
the motor? It will not have the computer no more. Thanks for your
