T56 fluid seepage

I was under my car right before winter changing the oil and I noticed a very little amount of transmission fluid seepage where the T56 connects to the bellhousing. I'm not very worried about it seeing as in never really dripped onto the concrete yet. What do you guys think this is? The trans is used out of a 97 trans am. Motor specs are in sig. I didn't use any sealer on the drain plug or the fill plug. It was dark and all I had was my trouble light so I didn't bother to check...

Re: T56 fluid seepage

chances are its the rear main seal...or the input shaft seal, which ive never really seen go bad, but anything is possible i guess.

Re: T56 fluid seepage

Trans fluid; input shaft seal
Engine Oil; rear main seal leak.

There aren't any other liquids near there.
