slp torque conv.

Any one tried the slp conv., I'm pretty sure it stalls around 2400 and is 12". I would like some first hand experience, especially any objective numbers. I know I should shell out for the PI, just don't know if I can bring myself to it . . .

Transmission: fixed the 700r4 again!
i just bought an slp TQ converter ( model # 60100) along with a built 700r4 and after gettting everything installed this weekend between the new converter and trans it greatly help in the intiall lauch off of a light. Im happy with it so far. definitly help iwht launching power

Transmission: 700R4, Probulit 700R4 &4L60E, 4L80E
I've had mine for about 3-4 years. When I installed it, I had added TrickFlow heads, but kept the stock L98 cam and bottom end. I was running 13.4's consistenetly with 1.910's-1.9130's on SZ50 radials.

I've still got the convertor in the car even now that it's behind a 383 now. I'm working out some computer/knock problems that's killing the top end but I'm still getting 12.8's.

Later, I will be going to the Vig to further reduce the rotating weight of the convertor, which should be even better than the setup I've got now, but until then, I'm still happy with the SLP convertor.
