Transmission: 4L80E NTC 258mm Stall
Axle/Gears: Trick Chassis 9" 3.50 S-Strac
External Differences between T-56 trannys
How would I beable to distinguish between a 93 T-56 and a 94+ tranny????? any external differences??

Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
Yes, the 93 T56 doesnt have a CAGS solenoid, which is a large cylinder sticking out at an angle on the driver's side, just in front of the shifter. The horizontal one to the left of the shifter is the reverse lockout solenoid. 93's wont have the CAGS solenoid, while 94+ do.

Sorry, don't mean to be rude or anything like that at all, but are you sure? It might be me, but I'm a little confused about your reply. Are you saying that the 93 T-56 trannies did not have a gags at all? Or was it just in a different location on the tranny??...

Right, there is no CAGS on the 93 T56 transmission. I forget what is there, whether its blank or there is a plug there. CAGS didnt come out until the 94+ T56.
