Tranny Question - 700R4

I have my tranny out and am putting in a new TC (2500 Stall), servo and shift kit (Transgo). Should I put new clutches in it while it is out??? Is there anything I should change?? The trans only has 28,000 miles on it. I want to make sure that I am not having to take it out again next year or the year after.

Do the update on the 3-4 clutch pack, put in the Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches (8) & Kolenes steels (7). Second install the Viton input/output seal (used in all 1992 & later 700R4/4L60E's) in the input drum. This will guarantee oil to the rear planet. Third put in the new clutch return springs supplied in the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit. Fourth you could install the Turbulator (low Drag) steels in the reverse input drum & in the low/reverse pack. Fifth install the Borg Warner Hi-Energy 2-4 band, along with the Corvette servo, and large boost valves. They should be in the Performance kit that you bought, if not make sure you get them.
Hope This Helps!!!

Pro-Built: why I have your attention. How difficult is it to install the servo and boost valve? Never done it before.. What cost am I looking at for the items you mentioned??
