my D/S

i have a 1991 305 TBI firebird w/a 700r4.do i have a one peice drive shaft?

yeah you sure do. unless you have a truck you won't see too many 2 piece drive shafts.

the reason i was asking is i've got a guy that's looking for a one piece d/s to replace his two piece d/s.i told him i would sell him mine because i'm going to be putting a aluminium d/s in my firebird.i didn't want to tell him it was a one oiece when i wasn't sure myself.thanks for the info

there is no 2 piece DS for a f body. if there was that would mean the f bodys had carrier bearings. he ought to look in to what he has before he waste his money for your DS, but that'd be a good thing for you right?

I've seen 4th gen V6 F-Bodies with a 2-piece driveshaft, so maybe 3rd gens had them also. I have no idea why they would need a 2-piece, but you could ask in the V6 area.

I've sold several alum shafts to V6ers with two-piece shafts. Apparently, the one-piece is a bolt-in for the two-piece.

the guy i'm selling it too has a 97 v6 firebird and he says his is a two peice d/s
