disc rear out of an 86 z28

How much hp will a posi disc rear out of an 86 z28 hold up to? Can i put it behind a 450 hp motor? If it wont hold up what does it take to beef it up? What is a good price for this rear with richmond 4:10 gears in it?

you'll gain a lot of strength welding the tubes to the center section and using a girddle. there are several people here that have had the 7.5 10 bolts last behind strong engines. lot depends on how well you hook up, or don't hook up.
