Tranny noise?

When I shift from 2 to 3 my tranny makes a strange soise it's not a grind but it sound kind of like that. In reverse when I let off the throttle there is alot of chattering unless I put the car in neutral, even with the clutch in the sound is still there. I had a clutch kit put in about 8k ago that should still be good right? Any help will be appreciated

If your clutch height is ok (try bleeding it again) it's prolly your pilot bearing or throwout bearing.

If the clutch isn't fully releasing though, it will make shifts real hard/grind.

But since you hear it in neutral i would suspect your throwout/pilot bearing and not a syncro.
