Who's used Pro Built Automatics?

I need a rebuild soon and I need recomendations on a trans build shop. Who here has had Pro Build rebuild their trans? Since I live on the east coast it would be better if I could find a local company to perform the rebuild, so any recomendations on Mid-Atlantic shops?
Thanx

Cool Runner,

If you figure this one out (anyone truly reputable at building HP transmissions in our area) then let me know. I am right around the corner from you in Frederick, MD. The best company that I have heard about is DelTrans in New Jersey. It would be nice though to find a place somewhere in MD. But, if I can't - then I have no doubt that ProBuilt can build me what I need. I talked with Dana a long time ago before anyone on this board even had one of these transmissions. He knows his ****.

I have a Pro Built automatic. Dana built it to withstand 650 horses and includes ALL the goodies, including a Trans-Go kit. I told Dana at that time that I'm running 12-flat with a daily-driven vehicle. He said the weak link WON'T be the transmission. I paid $1200 for it (not including shipping) and he gave me a one-year warranty.

Another satisfied customer. Dana has always taken the time to answer my questions and give advice before AND after the sale. Good luck in your search. Before ordering a tranny I drove a low 12 second 383 Formula with a 700R4 built by the "best" tranny guy in the area. It was so harsh it was almost unstreetable. Be sure to "drive before you buy" if at all possible.
