Z bar length

Does any body know the exact length of the Z bars for different size engines? Mainly 305 and 2.8

Thanks

The main part of my clutch linkage is the plastic tube that goes from the resvoir to the slave cylinder.

Z bars are on non-hydraulic clutch systems. Sorry I don't know the sizes though.

I have an '83 T/A with mech. linkage too.
According to my manual, all the engines used the same Z bar, but on the lower leg, there are 2 holes. The lower hole is used for the V8 and I4 engines, and the upper hole is used for the V6 engines.
Whichever hole is used for actual operation, the other hole is used for setting the proper clearance of the clutch. (I have a V8 so I use the upper hole for setting, and lower one for normal use.)

Hope this helps,
Poncho
