T56 install question
I noticed there are more connectors on the T56 than on my old T5. What are all these for (besides the reverse sensor and the VSS) and what if I can't connect them? I had someone mention to me there was a reverse lockout solenoid... is this true? What if I don't hook it up, will it want to go into reverse when I am looking for 5th?

Yeah, there are four.
Reverse lights
speedometer sensor
reverse lockout
skip shift - Makes you shift from 1st to 3rd if your're not on the gas a lot.
You only need the speedo connector and reverse lights. The reverse lockout is easily overcome. You can use the tranny without anything hooked up too.

Thanks. I think I'll try to get the reverse lockout hooked up just for insurance. I tend to drive really hard so I don't want to be going into reverse over 120 MPH.
All your base are belong to us! LOL! That was the funniest thing I have ever seen.
