Anyone ever set up a...

Anyone ever set up a 9 inch rearend. I don't mean gears, I mean the works. You know, spring perches, brakes, bearings, races....etc., that kind of stuff.

I am just wondering how much cheaper it would be to have a machine shop narrow the rearend then model the rearend to some of the ones already build by these performance places? Think you could make one to stand up to wheel stands like a STRANGE? I don't have that kind of power, so not everything has to be new except for the custom axles. I can not find ANY info to narrowing the ford 9" to bolt into our cars?

i've located or relocated the brackets and mounts on several rear ends. it isn't hard if you have a little fabrication skills and the right tools. i've built gm 12 bolts that stood up to wheel standing launches, but the spider gears kept breaking before we went to a spool.
