I ordered mine from summit last week, so it should be here anytime, my question is
does powertrax need be filled with any kind of special fluid?
can I just use normal posi gear lube?

Just regular lube(not posi lube). the posi type lube is for the posi clutches, the powertrax has no clutches. IMO, synthetic is the way to go. It doesn't cost much more(you only need 2 quarts and you won't have to change it as often), it reduces wear, and lasts longer.

Ditto. The PowerTrax instructions don't say anything about a posi lube or a posi additive. Synthetic absolutely the best way to go.
