I can't seem to find any #'s on my rearend axle housing, either side.Where do I need to look and how many #' will it be so I know what to look for?I would like to know what gears I have.I run around 2200-2500 at 70MPH I beleive.I don't think they are to low cause I only smoke em for about 20 feet from a dead stop then she just goes and she don't bog after the tires bite either.

Don't waste your time with fiddling around the numbers. Just pop the cover off and look. If you haven't changed the fluid lately it needs that done anyway.

What kind of car do you have? If the rear end is stock you can look on the tech database on this site and it can tell you. Is that 2300 RPMs in overdrive or drive, at 70 MPH? You have to check it in drive.
