I just recently purchased a 89 Formula (350TPI) . I have a few trans problems with it.
#1. It shifts too early. I tried to adjust the TV cable, but no matter if i hold the button down or not, the cable moves, is that supposed to happen(i don't think so)?

Now the fun begins. The previous owner had an Accel 300 ignition box on it. I removed it, and thats when the "fun" probs began.

#3. In O/D, the car shifts into 3rd, but if i shift it into "D", its like its in neutral & just revs. When in O/D, it seems to shift into 3rd, from 2nd, at around 4-5K .

The previous owner said it was rebuilt awhile ago(looking for reciepts now), has a shift kit, vette servo, etc, etc.
